P O The Integrated Authority File (GND) is encouraging use and active contribution beyond library contexts in archives, museums, cultural and academic institutions, and research projects. From June 7 to 11, 2021, the German National Library, together with the GND Cooperative, the actors of the GND4C project, and other partners, will host GNDCon 2.0 as a completely virtual convention with a new concept. It will enable bringing communities together and networking beyond the boundaries of divisions and topics in the digital space. The topics of the program modules concerning the use and application of the GND are as diverse as the content on the web. The keywords are: archives, ethnology, film, geography, artificial intelligence, literature, music, technology, works and Wikibase. We present several features provided by the GND Central Office and the new service agencies. The focus is on the milestones reached in the opening process and the further development of the GND. To ensure that the discourse between on-screen events and chat functionality is not neglected, all interested parties will meet again in rounds of resumes. GNDCon 2.0 will thus be a reflection of the diverse, decentralized and digitally active committed users and other interested stakeholders.
